Housecall Pro is field service software for home service businesses: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing and payments. It publishes three plan prices, and sells several add-ons without public prices.

Housecall Pro's plans

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annuallyUsers included
Basic$79/mo$59/mo1
Essentials$189/mo$149/mo5
MAX$329/mo$299/mo8, then $35/mo per extra user

Paying annually saves $20 a month on Basic, $40 on Essentials and $30 on MAX.

Housecall Pro's page says it "does not require long-term contracts."

Add-ons without a public price

These add-ons are listed on the pricing page with no price shown:

  • CSR AI (AI phone and chat answering)
  • Voice
  • Websites
  • Campaigns
  • Pipeline
  • Payroll
  • Accounting
  • Business Coaching
  • VGPS and dashcams
  • Tap to Pay

The page values the sales proposal tool at "$40/mo", included on MAX.

If any of these matter to you, ask for each price in writing, along with the term, before you sign. An add-on with no list price can change what the plan really costs more than the plan itself does.

Payment fees

Payment typeHousecall Pro's rate
Card"as low as 2.59%"
Bank payment1%

"As low as" means your rate may be higher. Ask what rate you would pay on your card volume.

Comparing it with other tools

  • Per user: Essentials includes 5 users at $189 a month. For a crew of four or five, that can work out cheaper than a plan that charges per user.
  • Annual vs monthly: the annual price is lower, but check what happens to the discount if you cancel during the year.
  • Add-ons: price the AI answering, website and campaign add-ons before comparing totals with a tool that includes them.

Where Zome fits

Zome is not field service software and doesn't replace Housecall Pro's scheduling and dispatch. Dispatch, a field app and card payments are marked "Soon" on our product pages.

Zome covers the work that brings the job in:

  • a website built from your own photos, with service and town pages
  • your Google presence and reviews
  • online booking
  • texting and missed-call text-back
  • an AI receptionist that takes messages and requests visits
  • follow-ups

Every price is published. Growth is $299 a month, or $249 a month billed yearly, with no setup fee and no contract. See Zome pricing, or start with a free report on your online presence.
