Review and messaging platforms help a service business ask for reviews, answer leads and stay in touch with past customers. Two of the best-known, Podium and Birdeye, don't publish prices. Two others, Broadly and NiceJob, do.

Podium and Birdeye: no published prices

  • Podium's pricing page shows no prices. It says plans are "designed to fit your specific business needs" and asks you to "talk to our sales team for details." It states no contract terms.
  • Birdeye's pricing page shows no prices. It asks for your email, company name and number of locations before showing pricing. It mentions "one platform, one contract" without stating the length.

Without published prices, you only learn the cost and the contract on a sales call. Ask for these in writing:

  1. The monthly price per location, and what's included at that price
  2. Any setup or onboarding fee
  3. The contract length, how it renews and how much notice you must give to cancel
  4. What add-ons cost (extra numbers, users, texting)
  5. What happens to your reviews, contacts and website if you leave

A note on review requests

Whichever tool you use, ask every customer the same way. Google's policies don't allow businesses to ask selectively for positive reviews or to discourage negative ones, so be wary of any setup that sends only happy customers to Google. Our guide to honest review requests covers how to ask.

Where Zome fits

Zome asks every customer for a review after the job, the same way every time. It also builds the website from your own photos, with service and town pages, checks your Google profile and listings, and handles online booking, texting and missed-call text-back. The AI receptionist takes messages and requests visits.

Growth is $299 a month, or $249 billed yearly, with no setup fee and no contract. Every price is on our pricing page. Want to see where you stand first? Get a free report on your online presence.
