Every customer has a personal link. When a friend books through it, you see who sent them. The link is on the customer's page in Zome, and on their own customer page.
The page
Referrals shows three numbers:
- Referrals: requests that came through a customer link
- Became jobs: completed jobs from referrals
- Thank-you reward: your reward, or Not set
All referrals lists each one as "Sent by (name)" with the time and a status.
Thank people
- When a referral becomes a job, press Mark rewarded after you thank the customer.
- Set what you give under Settings, in Referral thank-you, in Reward. It shows on the customer's own page as the thank-you for a referral. Zome never sets an amount.
Top advocates lists the customers who sent you the most. The referral thank-you automation sends a note when a referred job is done. It's on by default. Turn it off in Follow-ups under Automations.
How to get referrals
- Ask when the customer is happiest: right after the job.
- Send their personal link from their customer page.
- Thank them when the referral becomes a job.
