Your booking page is the page a customer reaches from Book online or Book a visit on your website. Open it yourself and book a test visit to see what they see.
The steps
- What do you need? The customer picks one of your services, or Something else and describes the job on the next step.
- Tell us about the job. They write what is happening in Describe the job and can add photos with Add photos. They pick How soon do you need us?: It's an emergency, In the next few days or I'm flexible. If you run an offer they can enter Have a code? (optional).
- Address of the job.
- Pick a day, then Pick a time window. Days and windows that are taken show Full.
- Where should we confirm? Their Your name, Mobile number and Email. A phone number or an email is enough.
The last button reads Book visit when you confirm bookings straight away, and Send request when you confirm them yourself.
Permission and consent
Under the phone number the customer reads that giving their number means they agree to texts from you about this request, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. A separate box, Also send me service reminders and occasional offers, is optional and unticked. It decides whether they get marketing.
Emergencies and pauses
- An emergency line tells them to call your number.
- If you paused online booking in Settings under Closed days and announcements, the page says you aren't taking online bookings until that day.
- If every window for two weeks is full, the page says so and still lets them send a request.
What happens next
The customer sees You're booked or Request sent, and a link to follow the request on their own page. The request lands in your Inbox with the details and photos. See Your inbox and request statuses.
To change windows, capacity and whether bookings confirm on their own, see Booking windows, capacity and emergencies.
