Before Zome sends a campaign, or turns on automatic marketing like service reminders and win-back notes, it needs your login email confirmed. It stops anyone sending marketing in your name from an account that isn't confirmed.
What you see
- On Home, a Confirm your email note with a Send link button.
- In Follow-ups, a message when you try to send: "Confirm your email first so we know it's really you. We sent you a link; check spam, or send it again." with a Send the link again button.
- In Settings, under Your account, your login email with a Not confirmed badge and a link, Confirm your login email.
Confirm it
- Press Send link (or Send the link again). The link arrives from Zome with the subject "Confirm your email for Zome".
- Open the email and tap the link. It works for 24 hours.
- You'll see Email confirmed.
- Go back to Follow-ups and send. The campaign picks up where you left off.
If you don't see the email, check spam. If several links are on their way already you'll see "A few links are on their way already. Check your inbox and spam folder."
What doesn't need it
Messages about a job a customer booked, like confirmations, estimates, invoices and review requests, aren't held for this.
Sending email needs to be connected
Email goes out once email sending is connected on Zome's side. Until then the confirmation mail itself may not send, and your messages wait in Follow-ups. See Why are my messages waiting in Follow-ups?.
