Zome paces your marketing so it reaches people and keeps your sender reputation clean. Messages are held, not thrown away.
Marketing emails (campaigns, win-back notes, service reminders and plan offers) go out at a steady pace. Currently, an account on a trial, preview or lapsed plan can send up to 300 a day and 100 an hour. A paid plan can send up to 1,000 a day and 250 an hour. Zome also keeps part of its own shared allowance for sign-in and account emails, so a very busy day can hold some marketing until tomorrow.
When a limit is reached, your message shows Waiting with a reason, such as "Waiting: you have reached today's limit of (number) marketing emails. This goes out tomorrow." When you save a big campaign you'll see "Campaign queued. Your account sends up to (number) marketing emails a day, so the rest go out over the next days." Scheduled lists what's waiting, and Send now is there if there's room.
Sign-in codes, password resets, invoices and replies are never held by these limits.
Texts
- Texts go out between 8am and 9pm in your business's time zone. A text scheduled outside that waits until 9am.
- Text campaigns come from your plan's monthly campaign texts: 2,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Growth + Done-for-you. If there aren't enough left for everyone you'll see "Not enough campaign texts left this month for everyone. Send it by email, or next month". Email campaigns are never blocked by this.
- Replies, confirmations, reminders and job updates never count against it.
Who is skipped
Customers who texted STOP ("They texted STOP, so texts to them are off."), unsubscribed ("They unsubscribed."), or agreed to emails only. See When a customer texts STOP or HELP.
No active plan
With no active plan or trial, campaigns are paused and your draft is saved. See What happens during a trial, and when it ends?.
