A banner on Follow-ups says "Texting and email aren't connected yet." It means Zome can't send the message by itself yet, so it holds it for you.
Why
- Texting goes out once Zome's texting is connected for your account. Business texting in the US and Canada needs the carriers to approve Zome's registration first. That takes days and isn't in your hands. It also needs a Zome number: see Your Zome number and missed-call text back.
- Email goes out once email sending is connected and the sender is verified.
In Settings, the connections list shows Texting and Email sending as connected or not, and the same line: "Messages wait in Follow-ups for you to send."
What to do meanwhile
- Go to Follow-ups and open Ready to send.
- For each message, press Open in Messages or Open in Mail. It opens your own phone's app with the message written.
- Send it, then press Mark sent. Or press Skip.
Nothing is lost, and customers aren't contacted twice.
When they're connected
Messages go out automatically, within the rules in How many messages can I send, and when do they go?. Messages that were due while your trial or plan was off wait for you instead of sending themselves.
Important
Marketing messages go only to customers who agreed. See Service reminders, win-back and campaigns.
