Follow-ups has an Automations section with a switch for each message. Each one sends only when its job is done, and customers who unsubscribed or texted STOP are left out.

Off until you turn them on
- Offer your maintenance plan
- Win back past customers (Months since the last job)
- Morning summary to you
- AI receptionist, with a box for What it can tell callers (optional). It shows only if your account has AI drafting and receptionist enabled.
What's marketing and what isn't
Reminders about a job a customer booked are not marketing. Service reminders, win-back notes, plan offers and campaigns are, and they only go to customers who agreed. See Who gets marketing.
If texting and email aren't connected
The messages wait in Follow-ups under Ready to send. See Why are my messages waiting in Follow-ups?.
