Log in with a link
- On the login page, press Email me a sign-in link.
- Enter the email you log in with and press Email me a link.
- Open the email and press the link, then press Log in.
The link works once, for 15 minutes. If it has expired, ask for a new one. For your privacy, the page answers the same way whether or not there is an account for that email.
Turn on two-step sign-in
- Go to Settings and scroll to Security.
- Press Turn on two-step sign-in.
From then on, when you log in with your password on a phone or computer Zome doesn't know, Zome emails you a 6-digit code. Enter it to finish logging in. The code works for 10 minutes, and you get 5 tries. Press send a new code if it doesn't arrive.
Keep Remember this browser for 30 days ticked on your own phone and computer, so you aren't asked every time. Untick it on a shared computer.
Your login email must be confirmed before you can turn it on, so the codes reach you. Two-step sign-in is always on for Zome staff accounts.
Remembered browsers
Security lists the browsers that skip the code. Press Forget them all if you lost a device. Each one will need a code next time. Log out everywhere also forgets them.
Turn it off
Enter your password under Security and press Turn off.
Let the Zome team see your account
When you ask for help, the Zome team may need to see what you see. Under Security, press Allow for 24 hours. The team can then open your dashboard read only: they can't change, send or download anything, and you'll see a note each time someone looked. Press End it now to stop it before the 24 hours are up. Only the account owner can allow it.
