Post a job
- Go to Hiring and press Post a job.
- Fill in the Job title, the Type (full-time, part-time, contract or seasonal) and Where. Leave Where empty to use your town.
- Add the Pay if you can. A range like $28 to $38 an hour gets more applicants than no pay at all.
- Under About the job, write what the work is, the hours, what you need and what you offer.
- Press Post job.
Open jobs show on a Careers page on your website, with a Careers link at the bottom of every page. Each job has its own page and a short application form. Jobs that have a description can also appear in Google's job search; Google decides what it shows.
Close or change a job
- Press Edit to change it.
- Press Close when it's filled. It comes off your website straight away. Press Reopen to post it again.
With no open jobs, the Careers page still takes general applications, so good people can reach you any time.
Applications
When someone applies, you get an alert by email, and it shows under Activity. Open Hiring to see each application: the job, their phone and email, experience, license and note.
- Press Contacted, Hired or Passed to keep track.
- Press the bin to delete an application you no longer need.
Applicants are never added to your customers and never get your reminders or offers. To keep a copy, press Download all under Download your data in Settings: job applications are in the zip.
