Add or edit a service
- Go to Website and open Services and prices.
- Press Add a service, or Edit on a service you have.
- Fill in Service name and choose Price shown.
- Press Add service (or Save service).
The Price shown options are:
- Quote on request, for jobs you price on site
- From a starting price
- A price range, with Price (or lowest) and Highest (for a range)
- A fixed price
Prices show on your website before people book. These are your instant quotes. To delete a service, open it and press Delete.
More service settings
- Customers can book this online: untick it to keep a service off your booking page.
- Remind customers every: when opted-in customers get a service reminder after a job, like every year. See Service reminders, win-back and campaigns.
- Add-ons: one per line, with an optional price after a | sign, like
Water heater flush | 89. Customers can pick them when they book. - About this service, in your words, What's included and Questions customers ask fill the service's own page. For questions, put the question on one line, the answer on the next, and a blank line between pairs.
Services without your own words show Add your own words. A few true sentences about how you do the job make the page more useful to customers and to Google.
Add the towns you serve
- Open the Service area tab on Website.
- Under Add towns, type towns or neighborhoods separated by commas.
- Press Add.
Only add places you really serve. To take one off, open it and press Remove.
Give a town its own page
Every town is listed on your website. A town's page is opened up to Google once you write something real about working there.
- In Towns you serve, open the town.
- In About working in (town), write about two sentences: how often you work there, how soon you can usually get there, the kind of homes and jobs you see.
- Press Save. The badge changes from Listed to In Google.
If there's grey text in that box, it was written for you and is what the page shows now. Write only what's true, with no made-up landmarks or travel times. In Google means the page is open to Google. It doesn't decide where it ranks.
