Google Business Profile check on Google and listings compares what Google shows about you with what's on your website.
Run it
- Go to Google and listings.
- Press Check my Google profile (or Check again).
- Wait a moment. Zome looks up your business name and town on Google.
The card shows All match, or how many are to fix. Each field is Matches, Different or Not on Google. The fields are Business name, Phone, Address, Website and Hours, with your website's version next to Google's.
Fix what's different
The card tells you what to do, for example "Set your Google website to (your address)" or "Make these the same, on Google or in Settings, whichever is wrong." Press Open Google Business Profile to change it on Google. Change your details in Settings if your website is the one that's wrong.
If it finds the wrong business
Press Not my business. Check the business name and town in Settings match your Google profile, then check again.
If it can't find you
You'll see "We couldn't find your business on Google". Check the name and town in Settings. If you have no profile yet, you can create one for free at business.google.com.
Available once switched on
The check button appears when Zome's automatic Google check is switched on. If you see a note that it isn't, use Your details, exactly as they should appear and the profile checklist in the meantime.
