Most trades go to the customer. For those, Google has a service-area setup: customers see the towns you cover, not your address.
When it applies
If customers don't come to your premises, choose the option that you deliver goods and services to customers, and hide your address. Google may still ask for an address privately to verify you.
If customers do visit you, show your address.
If you haven't added an address in Zome
The Create your Google profile sheet says so. Set the profile up as a service-area business and list the towns you serve. Google may still ask for an address privately.
Add your service areas
- In Zome, go to Website and open the Service area tab. Add the towns you really serve.
- In the Google sheet, the Service areas line lists them, ready to copy.
- Google allows up to 20 service areas. Add the places you really serve and no more.
Keep everything matching
Use the same business name, phone and website on Google as on your Zome website. See How do I make my details match everywhere?.
Your Zome website
Leave the street address empty in Settings if customers don't visit you. See Business details, opening hours and notifications.
