The Projects section shows your best jobs with your own photos. Visitors can drag a handle across a before and after pair to see the change.
Add the section
- In the editor, press Add a section and choose Projects in the library. See How do I add a section from the library?.
- Select the section to open its settings.
Add a project
- Press Add a project. You can add up to 12.
- Type a Project name, like "Backyard patio and garden". Add a Town if you like.
- In the text box, write a few words about the job. What did you build, and what did the customer ask for?
- Press Choose to pick a Cover photo from your photos, or Upload one.
Add a before and after slider
- Tick Show a before and after slider.
- Choose or upload the Before photo, then the After photo.
Both photos are needed for the slider. Use photos of the same spot, taken from the same place, so the slider lines up. Unticking the box removes both photos from the project.
Your own photos only
A project shows only photos you uploaded. A stock photo is never shown as a customer's project. A project is shown to visitors once it has a name and one of your own photos.
Give a project its own page
Write at least 80 characters about the job and the project gets its own page, which Google can show. The panel says Has its own page in Google when it does. These pages appear under Project pages in the Editing menu.
Order and removal
The arrows move a project up or down. The bin removes it.
