You edit extra pages in the same editor as your home page, on the page itself.
Open a page
At the top of the side panel, the Editing menu shows the page you're on. Press it to see:
- Home
- Your pages, each tagged On your website or Not shown yet
- Project pages, for projects that have their own page. See How do I show projects with before and after photos?.
- Add a page
Add a page
- Open the Editing menu.
- Under Add a page, choose Financing, Warranty, Commercial work, About us or Blank page.
- The page opens, not shown yet, with headings and hints.
Write it
- Click the words on the page and type. A blank line starts a new paragraph, and a line that starts with "- " makes a bullet.
- Under Top of the page, set the title, an introduction, a shorter Name in the menu (up to 24 characters) and a photo.
- Add a block adds a heading and text. A page can have up to 10 blocks. Drag blocks to reorder them, or use Move up and Move down.
- Duplicate copies a block. Remove deletes it, and an Undo button appears for a few seconds.
Show it
A page needs something written under at least one heading before it can be shown. Turn on Show on my website in the side panel. See How do I hide a page from my website?.
Saving
An added page that is shown saves as you type. It is not held back for Publish. The status says Saved to your page. A page that isn't shown says Page saved.
Visitors can only see it once your website is published. A website's first publish is checked by the Zome team. See What does "your first publish is checked" mean?.
Delete a page
Press Delete this page and confirm. It comes off your website and your menu.
Limits
A website can hold up to 50 pages. For the menu, see Add pages and arrange your menu.
