Customers want to know roughly what a job costs before they call. Prices are optional for every service.
Set a price
- Go to Website and open Services and prices.
- Press Edit on a service (or Add a service).
- Under Price shown, choose how to show it: - Quote on request: no number shown - From a starting price: type Price (or lowest) - A price range: type Price (or lowest) and Highest (for a range) - A fixed price
- Press Save service.
If your lowest price is above your highest, you'll see "The lowest price is above the highest. Fix it and save again".
Where prices appear
On your Services section and the service's own page, and in your Price guide section. A Price guide only lists services with a price, and it stays hidden until at least one service has one.
Keep prices honest
Say what the price includes in the service's description. If prices vary a lot with the job, use From a starting price or A price range. A price you can't stand behind costs you more than no price.
