The Customer comments section shows what your customers have told you, word for word. It isn't a stand-in for your Google reviews, and it never adds stars.
Add the section
Press Add a section and choose Customer comments (under Trust), then select it to open its settings.
Add a comment
- Press Add a comment. You can add up to 12.
- Paste what the customer wrote, exactly as they wrote it. A comment can be up to 600 characters.
- Add their First name and, if you like, their Town.
Never write a comment for a customer, and never change their words.
Confirm them
Turn on These are real words from my customers and I can show them. Until you do, visitors see nothing in this section. The note beside it says Confirmed once it's on.
If you brought in your old website
If your old website had customer comments, the editor shows a box above the section list, like We found 3 customer comments on your old website. Use them? Read them first.
- Tick the same confirmation.
- Press Use these comments. Or press Not now, and nothing goes on your site.
How they appear
Comments are shown word for word, with the name you gave. They are not marked up as Google reviews, because they aren't Google reviews.
Move or remove
The arrows reorder comments. The bin removes one.
