Google sold its domain registration business to Squarespace. Domains that were at Google Domains are now managed at Squarespace Domains. The domain is still yours, and its DNS settings are where you add the Zome records.
Find your domain
- Look in your email for a message from Squarespace about your domain. It will name the domain and the account.
- Sign in to Squarespace Domains with the account that held the domain at Google. People often use the same Google account.
- Open your domain and look for DNS or DNS settings.
If you can't find it, find out who holds your domain with a public lookup. The result names the registrar.
Do you need to transfer it to Zome?
No. Zome doesn't sell or transfer domains. You point the domain at your website by changing two records. See Point your domain or transfer it: which do I need?.
Next step
Add the records at Squarespace Domains. See Connect a Squarespace Domains domain to Zome.
Watch out: Menu names change. If the page you see doesn't match, look for DNS, Custom records or Manage DNS.
