These two words sound alike, and they are very different.
Pointing
Pointing is what the Domain tab does. You keep the domain where you bought it, keep paying that company and change two records. It is enough. You can undo it by changing the records back.
Transferring
Transferring moves the registration itself to a different company. Zome doesn't sell or transfer domains, so you never need to transfer anything to us.
If you transfer a domain later
A domain is usually locked against transfers for its first 60 days. If you move it to another company later, check its records afterwards. Make sure the A record for @ and the CNAME for www are still there, then press Check now.
