Only the account owner can remove a domain.
Remove it
- Go to Website and open the Domain tab.
- Press Remove domain. You'll see "Domain removed".
Your website goes back to its free Zome address, which still works. The domain itself stays yours at your registrar. Zome never owns it.
Change to a different domain
- Remove the old domain.
- Type the new one under Domain and press Connect domain.
- Add the records Zome shows at the new domain's registrar. See Which DNS records do I add for my domain?.
Visitors who use the old address will no longer reach your site, so update your Google profile, cards and social pages. If you need old page addresses to keep working, see Keep your old website's addresses working.
Domains Zome won't connect
Zome doesn't accept addresses ending in zome.io, zome.site, vercel.app or vercel.com, or placeholder ones like localhost and example.com. Type a real domain you own.
