You'll see Start your plan to connect your domain when your account has no plan or trial yet. Your own address, like harborplumbing.com, comes with a plan or a trial.
Your website still works
Your website is at its free Zome address meanwhile. You'll find it on the Domain tab under Your free address. It keeps working after you connect a domain too.
What to do
- On the Domain tab, press Choose a plan.
- Choose your plan. See How am I billed for Zome? and What happens during a trial, and when it ends?.
- Go back to Website, open Domain, type your domain and press Connect domain.
If you already typed your domain, the tab says Start your plan to finish connecting. Choose a plan, then press Check now.
Who can do it
Only the account owner can connect or remove a domain.
What Zome does not do
Zome doesn't sell domains. You keep your domain where you bought it.
